Forever Our Queen 🧡
Tennessee legend Dolly Parton has passed away at the age of 80.
Born and raised in East Tennessee, Parton became one of the most recognizable and beloved figures in music history, building a career that spanned more than six decades.
From “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You” to Dollywood and the Imagination Library, her impact stretched far beyond country music.
A Tennessee icon whose legacy will live forever.
Rest in peace, Dolly. 🕊️👑
BREAKING: The NCAA has reduced the suspension of Arion Carter to just one game after an appeal from Tennessee.
Arion will still have to sit out the season opener against Furman.
Thoughts??
The NCAA has agreed to reduce Arion Carter’s suspension from 2 games to 1. While I strongly agree with Josh Heupel’s comment about how ridiculous this is in our current environment, 1 game is better than 2. If players around the country are allowed to leave NFL camps and play college football, the NCAA should do the right thing and drop it all altogether. This is yet another example of applying archaic rules from another era, without evolving and, most importantly, putting student-athletes’ experiences above bureaucracy. Arion doesn’t deserve this unnecessary distraction. He is everything that is right about college sports, a team leader who has already earned his degree.

The design blends elements from Neyland’s career and the Tennessee uniforms that spanned his coaching tenure from 1926-1952.
