Reaching out one hand to the cat that now approached them again. Stroking her back gently.

"Let me help you with cleaning up at least though!"

Thoma was more than grateful for his friend to be so generous of offering him a place to stay and food to eat in a storm like this. The chief retainer definitely would make up for it.

He slowly finished his own bowl, although, there was still a bit left in it since unlike

"I think my tongue got burned..." Well, he could feel some his tearduct sweating a little from the side affect. Just how much spice did Anna put there??

Tomo he had to give up. He leaned back and rubbed his tummy. Just slightly feeling the burn from the spice when his stomach was protesting for it.

"Ah... not only my tongue I think, hahaha. But it was still filling." Stretching himself he turned his attention to Tama.

[𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚 @DANCINGFLXME]

He would definitely share Tomo's feeling about the lady of the Kamisato Clan. Thoma had often watched her training and even had sparred with her to polish her skills when Ayaka asked for it. Of course he would never go all out on her, but... he wouldn't lie that he was

"It seems like I owe you a lot today, Tomo. Thank you, my friend." Thoma let out a small laugh and then returned to slowly

"True, I guess this could warm up any frozen men." Thoma took another small bite of the dish and sipping at the milk alongside of it. However, he supposed these kind of spices were more known to the people in Sumeru... although the chief retainer had to admit... it's not

is also a wonder on itself.

Tomo's gaze landed on the closed tatami window where raindrops platter against it. The sound coming from outside had started to become louder. What started as a light drizzle has turned into a downpour.

"Do you think it's going to get worse?"

[𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚 @DANCINGFLXME]

does sound like it's going to... I didn't expect it to become such a storm. Walking back to the estate will be an interesting thing... if I am not blown away by the wind as well, haha." He tried to make light of it; after all, he also didn't want to just invite

[𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚 @DANCINGFLXME]

Thoma definitely made a mental note to himself that he would do anything in his powers to never ever upset said restaurant owner because otherwise he would perhaps also meet her wrath like that.

He tried to hold back his own laugh, but hey at least they were in the

The blonde eventually started to eat again as well, occasionally giving a small cough but he was nodding.

"Yeah I'm fine. Don't worry about me. I mean ... you have heard of our hotpot games. I have eaten worse things

[𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚 @DANCINGFLXME]

The blonde retainer frowned at his friend for a moment.

"Should I wonder what you have done for a crime that Anna is punishing you with such a meal and have you eat it?" Thoma couldn't help himself but feel a little torn between needing to hold back a laugh in

[𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚 @DANCINGFLXME]

"No, it's fine. I'm fine. I just caught off guard with how spicy it was. I think with the milk it should be fine. Don't worry!" Lifting one hand, he waved the matter off and then picked up eating again. It's still very spicy but it was true, with the milk he wouldn't
