District Attorney Scott McNamara announced that the investigation regarding the death of Tyler Johnson is complete. McNamara stated that NYS Trooper Robert Annarino was justified in his use of deadly physical force upon Tyler Johnson and therefore there will be no further action.

After a three day trial in front of the Honorable Michael L. Dwyer, Stanley Blair, 25 of Utica, was found guilty today of one count of Burglary in the First Degree and one count of Assault in the Third Degree. Sentencing is scheduled for August 1, 2019.
