Just finished our official oversight visit today to @DUT_Tweets with MP @HannahWinkler2, @Sibo_Mshabir @NtuliBheka. Appalled by the fact that after an hour of waiting management did not meet us! They refused to show us the sport centre too. DUT is in crisis! #DUTShutDown

In 2020 the Democratic Alliance Student Organisation (DASO) called for more funding to be made available to NSFAS because we foresaw the problems we see playing out today.

These recommendations were received and noted but never implemented.
