Our Rookie League participants in their 4th session of @JaysCare Affiliate School Program. They loved using the gloves! Each player got a special surprise key tag with the logo one of our players designed with their team name. Learning lots of ⚾️ & team skills. @LeatherbarrowPS

We started our #educationalgymnastics unit last week - balancing & creating shapes (with others, gr 2) in games of Twister (added unstable surfaces - domes - for gr 2) and Balance Tic-Tac-Toe. Ss were working hard to show their skills! 👏🏻👏🏻 @ASDS_PhysEd @LeatherbarrowPS #physed

The tug-of-war rope was used as a firefighter’s hose. Drag it out, put out the fire, run back and pull the hose in. They did a great job!

Fire safety stations today! These students worked hard to be safe & active just like real firefighters. 👨‍🚒 🚒 They rescued pets, rode on fire trucks, practiced climbing ladders, stop-drop-roll and carried hoses. @LeatherbarrowPS @ASDS_PhysEd

A new tradition started with @hamptonelem ! Their grade 4 Ss taught our grade 2 Ss the rules of the playground during a PE period & they were excellent leaders. Thank you, Mrs. Henry! This will help with the transition in September. @ASDS_PhysEd @LeatherbarrowPS

A successful Scooter City during #NationalAccessAbilityWeek . A highly engaging & cross-curricular event enjoyed by all from bowling to skateboard park to a zipline & lots of other attractions, our Ss had a blast learning about earning & spending 💵. @LeatherbarrowPS @ASDS_PhysEd
