She blatantly replied that they won’t reduce fees since even when we are not in college,
water cooler and lift maintenance is done and apparently they bought an annual
subscription of Microsoft teams which they say is costly ignoring free options like
Google meet or Zoom. (10/20)
We expressed our concerns to the principal that we are unable to pay full fees and why
should we when we are not using gymkhana, WiFi, computer labs, electricity, water or
any facility for which the college charges us. And no development is possible during the

The pandemic has affected all. Local shop owners selling non-essential items have had
a family income of ₹0. Others have had job losses and salary cuts while the expenses
have only increased due to a surge in prices of essential commodities which we barely
managed to buy. (8/20)
A few days ago, we had circulated a form in our college to ask for support and 1057
students had filled the form and many students expressed their difficulties in
paying the fees in full value. Some said they might have to borrow while others said they
might drop out. (7/20)
