If you've lost a child, even an adult child, holidays are so painful. Wish it were possible to just skip them but that's not how life works.

Lew's Aunt & Uncle would go to Alaska for salmon fishing every year, and they would freeze and can it while there. Best salmon I ever had!!

@nessaTX Ugh - totally relate! We had the transmission rebuilt 2x on our Bronco & began to fear it would happen again. Our kids were young & I was afraid of it failing at an in opportune time.
Wish we’d had a different mechanic check it out before trading it in.

Lewis is good, not “taking it easy” as much as he should. A few afib episodes (normal part of healing) but converted naturally so all’s good so far. Follow up visit on Wed. hoping restrictions ease up then.
