Last week we hosted the Health Summit at City Hall. This week, Minister Dix announced increased funding for SMH and announced a cath lab which will provide greater care for those with cardiac issues.
I am extremeley grateful for this announcement. We have a long way to go.
Top 3 causes of death in Surrey are trauma, heart attack and stroke. If bridges shut down because of snow, Surrey is helpless. Our hospitals are not equipped to deal with these issues. We need provincial funding for a second tower at SMH ASAP. Surrey deserves its fair share!
@AKTVinc Maar the retweet to support these great kids.
This fundraiser was created by a group of kids (they call themselves "The Gratitude Crew") who understand how lucky they are and as a result, want to help others.
