Quick, @philadao and @Jane_Roh, as a gentle reminder, you have a few more hours to acknowledge National Police Week and thank a first responder. 😂🦗😂🦗😂.
@PhillyPolice
@DA_LarryKrasner If we talking about your own jurisdiction, I think the last numbers were 7 infections? Still looking to open those prison doors though, huh?
“A mob entering a business sounds like more than just shoplifting, it sounds terroristic. If police are making arrests in cases like that, our office would charge appropriately" said Jane Roh, spokeswoman with the Philly DAO (So many ridiculous thing about this statement) #rutroh
@Jane_Roh Article is from Feb. Is your way to further malign a Judge who doesn’t play by your rules? “Without comment” is both common and strange for you as a comm director (well I guess typically only when asked serious questions).
@DA_LarryKrasner@philadao We see what you did there - “defendant motions for release” which casually leaves out the offices AGREEMENT and ASSISTANCE in drafting and filing the motions.
Also - are these calls looking for the victim’s opinion or you just telling them you already agreed to release?
@abgutman So the DAO is only charging less than 50% of those arrested? You act as though this means crime is down. Simply because the stats are lower (particular the charging rate) doesn’t mean the crime isn’t happening- just that the DAO doesn’t care that it’s happening.
Here is an article- “liked” by @Jane_Roh. Hey Jane, so you know, a man lost his life at the hands of another. Your office pros. the man b/c in theory, your office thought he committed a crime. Why then are you, the Comms Director, “liking” an article treating the man as a maryr?
@DefUnionPhila@PhilaCourts You do know that unionizing perhaps gave you a bigger voice in the Public Defender’s Office, but it gives you no more power or voice in the criminal justice system....right?
Fear not, however, since you still have the @philadao as your advocate.
@cmclymer It’s unfortunate that @DanaDiFilippo “liked” this post and at the same time tries to be a serious journalist. Come on - this is a ridiculous post and you’re above this. In today’s world we need serious, unbiased, in depth reporting. Things like this make you lose all credibility.
Anything from the @philadao about resources to help DV victims forced to isolate with abusers? Anything about the delay in cases that traditionally only help defendants? Anything about restitution not being paid to victims now?
@DA_LarryKrasner If only your office would take swift action against criminals who victimize. Throughout this you have voiced not a single concern for crime victims (FYI - this pandemic is also denying VICTIMS justice in court) yet multiple times a day you advocate for defendants and criminals.

@NickAtNews@samanthamelamed@MikeNewall Low level arrest unless it’s YOUR car that is stolen. Imagine trying to go to work, grocery store, etc during this to find out someone stole your car and won’t be held responsible. When will be care for victims and not the ones who victimize?
@aclupa@aclupa - did you take the same stance when @DA_LarryKrasner fired a bunch of seasoned prosecutors for no articulable reason, one in particular on the eve of a murder trial? Why the partisanship?
@flowerlady61 Wow - another thing that sets you apart- you took ownership of your actions, admitted you were (essentially) to blame for the results, and are accepting the (harsh) consequences with grace and dignity. Again, you definitely stand out in a crowd. Looking forward to the next move!
