Don’t take things for granted. Have gratitude for everything you have & if you send out positive energy, it will make its way back to you in some fashion.
Put your best foot forward everyday & you’ll see your efforts be rewarded one way or another.
everything you have that’s positive in your life is a privilege. You’re not entitled to these things & they can be taken from you as fast as it was granted to you.
Example:
Your health
Having a car
Going to college / playing a sport
Family / Friends
A job
Just to name a few
be strict on your sleep, eat healthy foods, & stay hydrated
•
focus on movement efficiency, flexibility/mobility, & recovery
•
that’s a solid recipe to stay healthy & competing at a high level
•
athletes, you can control more than you realize
•
take accountability
when the stress of sport exceeds the “healthy stress” placed on the body in the weight room, it can become a recipe for injury. Train the body to absorb the stress in the WR, so sport comes easier.
daily positive self-talk is very important, especially for athletes
•
make sure you’re being kind to yourself & positive in your mind
•
we’re all energetic beings so whatever energy you put out, is the type of energy you’ll attract
•
control what you can control & win the day
