So, the German FA set the UEFA A course at £500 to encourage more young coaches to get qualified. Spain is 1k plus and has enough courses to meet demand. We charge 4k & most have little to no chance of even getting on a course due to over-subscription. The result of that

3x 17yr olds in the starting XI (& generally the avg. age U21), every player put in 110% all over, in a new shape discussed pre-match, to keep a clean sheet vs a top side with 500+ @EFL games experience in!

'I have 8+ years of coaching experience and proven successful at improving teams at different levels. I have also been involved in scouting for professional clubs’ academies and coaching in clubs’ Development Centres.
Joining from Warsash on the back of a league cup win and a club highest finish, I am excited to be a part of the Hamble Club and to help the team in the Wessex Prem.'

I’ve looked at how his team (P) have played this season, in comparison to Feyenoord (F) and Liverpool (L)…

Shots on Target Conceded (Avg/90). I find this a more reasonable metric than GA when considering playing styles.

P: 2.2 shots/game (-39% less than L)
F: 2.4 shots/game
L: 3.6 shots/game

It's amazing how effective a dummy long throw can be. (a) Arsenal's defenders covering a large area. (b) Thrower backs off as if about to start a big run-up, so Arsenal defenders bunch at near post. (c) Thrower goes short/backwards. (d) Arsenal leave big gap at far post.

Seems counterproductive to loan him back into his comfort zone, but may be too soon for him in the PL.

Why not loan him to an EFL side where he’s close to monitor & support, get lots of games, get him used to English football, learn the language, adapt to the weather etc etc.

Having the technical ability to shoot/finish with both feet, from various body positions (inc. off balance), is such an elite skill.

Even at the top levels, it’s frightening how many would have missed the target on that rebound.
