Why does it feel so hard to eliminate the word “that” from some sentences. It reads so wrong and yet so right at the same time for me.

Did some revising tonight of chapter 2 of my wip. Ended up writing about 1,000 words tonight as I filled in more details and fleshed out the emotions of the chapter. It is a rougher chapter to get through, there's a lot of emotions faced in there. #author #authorscommunity
