A new chapter begins for the Adult Neurology Residency Program at MNGHA as we warmly welcome Dr. Fawaz Alibrahim as our new Program Director.

We are truly excited to see the program continue to grow under his leadership and look forward to the guidance, mentorship, and vision he will bring to our residents and training program.

As we welcome this new chapter, we also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Ahmed Abulaban for the years of dedication, leadership, and genuine support he has given to the program and its residents. His mentorship and commitment have helped shape the training experience of many residents and have left a lasting impact that will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you, Dr. Ahmed, for everything you have given to the program, and congratulations to Dr. Fawaz on this well-deserved role.

Wishing you both continued success, and wishing our residency program an exciting new chapter ahead.

في #اليوم_العالمي_للتصلب_المتعدد🎗️، نسلّط الضوء على أحد أكثر الأمراض العصبية التي قد تكون غير مرئية للآخرين، رغم تأثيرها العميق على حياة المصابين بها.

التصلب المتعدد (MS) هو مرض مناعي ذاتي يصيب الجهاز العصبي المركزي، حيث يهاجم الجهاز المناعي الغلاف الواقي للأعصاب، مما يؤثر على انتقال الإشارات العصبية بين الدماغ والجسم. وقد تختلف أعراضه من شخص لآخر، لتشمل الإرهاق، واضطرابات الرؤية، ومشكلات الحركة أو الإحساس وغيرها من التحديات اليومية.

ورغم أن رحلة المرض قد تكون مليئة بالتحديات، فإن التقدم المستمر في فهم المرض وتطوير العلاجات الحديثة أسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة ومنح المرضى فرصًا أكبر للعيش باستقلالية وأمل.

في هذا اليوم، نجدد التزامنا بنشر الوعي، وتعزيز الفهم المجتمعي، ودعم كل من يعيش مع التصلب المتعدد. فالمعرفة تصنع فرقًا، والأمل يقودنا نحو مستقبل أفضل 🧡
