@Lagarde For the most part, the Bulgarian people do not want the adoption of the euro because the economy and standard of living are much lower than those in the eurozone. Since spring until now, there have been popular protests against the forced adoption of the euro.EUdemocracy???

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

@Lagarde At least 70% of the Bul-an people do not want the adoption of the euro, at least not now.The Bg. mafia rules the country, and the government was elected after elec-s with many falsifications, proven and announced by the court. The forced adoption of the euro, is this EU democracy?

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

@vonderleyen Think about how much you are stuck and how much you are at the bottom -EU,EuroArea,ECB, that you have no other alternative and as a last hope,EU relied on the poorest and most corrupt country in the EU, Bulgaria,to save europinian image and deficit of the ECB,by forceadopting €

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

@lolurnext @vonderleyen Yes, unfortunately Bulgaria is boarding the Titanic, shortly before it sinks completely. There are currently large-scale protests because 70% of the people do not want to adopt the euro.Bulgaria is the poorest and most corrupt country in the EU.The standard of living is much lower

[OUTATIME 💫 @lolurnext]

@vonderleyen EU is sinking faster than Titanic. Good Luck Bulgaria.

[Tom Butler @tomlbutler]

@vonderleyen Don't do it Bulgaria! Joining the Euro will be terrible for the Bulgarian economy.

It will mean the exchange rate will be far too high, making Bulgarian exports uncompetitive leading to slower growth and higher unemployment.

[Erik Peeters @erikpeeters1966]

The last time I visited Bulgaria in 2019, I paid one lev for a half-litre bottle of Zagorka beer.

If Bulgaria adopts the euro, we will have to pay one euro for that same bottle.

It looks the same, but it is double the price.

A comparable situation occurred in Germany when they abandoned the Deutsche Mark and adopted the euro starting in January 1999.

In 2001, I could buy a Döner Kebab bread for 3 Deutsche Mark, which was equivalent to 1.5 euros. Today I pay ten euros for the same product, which is an increase of 566%. I don't remember my wages increasing by 566%...

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

@vonderleyen Bulgaria is the poorest and most corrupt country in the EU. The standard of living is 3-4 times lower than in the € area. This will be a huge shock, because the country is in political and economic instability. 70% of the people do not want to adopt the euro, at least not now.

[Darina Atanasova @DAtatanasova]

@eurovCesku @vonderleyen @EU_Commission The majority of the Bulgarian people (60-70%) do not want to join the euro area on 01.01.2026.
There are large-scale protests.
Should the people be forced to adopt the euro??? Is this democratic??? Are these the European principles and values?

@vonderleyen 60-70% of the people do not want Bulgariato enter the euro area. The country's government committed crimes against the people - no referendum was held, no explanatory campaign was carried out among the people, and the data on inflation and the financial deficit were falsified.
