@laurenboebert Hot off the press “A new Moody’s analysis finds Biden’s policies are significantly better for the U.S. economy, while Trump’s plans would trigger a recession, cut 3.2M jobs, add 1% to inflation, & reduce middle-class families’ incomes."
LOVE IT. Jen Psaki is now leading her Sunday show on MSNBC with Donald Trump encouraging Russia to attack NATO allies yesterday, talking about why it matters & why we must not be numb to this. Thank you, Jen Psaki, for doing this. This is how it’s done & we need more of this.
God said “I need a man who failed in everything but theft and broken promises to live in a golden palace and convince the poor he serves their needs.” So God made Trump.
Lets talk about “God making trump” shall we.
When Donald was a 5 year-old boy, he was caught throwing rocks at a baby in a crib in the neighboring yard.
When he was eligible for the draft, while his peers went off to war, he sought medical deferments for an ailment he didn’t have.
He left his first wife, who said he raped her, for his second wife who he then left for his third wife, who he cheated on repeatedly.
He bragged about grabbing women by the pussy, cheated people out of their money, stole from charities, mocked a disabled reporter, opined about having sex with his daughter, let Americans die from Covid, and incited horrific violence in order to install himself in an office he was voted out of.
He’s a sociopathic narcissist, a pathological liar, a sexual predator, and a bigoted, hateful, vitriolic criminal conman who refers to innocent immigrants as “vermin”, while praising murderous despots at same time.
He can’t cite a single passage from the Bible when asked, he doesn’t attend church, he spends his every Sunday worshipping at the Basilica of St. Back Nine, and he refers to himself as the second coming of Jesus.
God has turned him into a tomato-sauce-stained sloth-like creature who has to wear a girdle and lifts in his shoes. God impeached him twice, made him lose reelection and visited upon his term in office, a once in a lifetime global pandemic which ravaged our country along with the rest of the world. And then God indicted him 4 times, found him liable of defamation, sexual abuse & business fraud.
God created someone as hateful, impulsive, intolerant, needy, angry, vengeful, selfish, sadistic, depraved, amoral, areligious, idiotic, envious and evil as Donald Trump, made his presidency the most infamous in the history of time, and then he rained down upon him the hammer of justice in historic fashion all so that he could return him to the office he tried to steal in order to “save” America?
That’s God’s “plan” is it?
To reward the physical embodiment of the 7 deadly sins rolled into a senile septuagenarian with the highest political office on the planet?
Yeah, I don’t fucking think so.
Seriously? People are concerned about why Joe Biden is running, but they're okay with twice impeached, four times indicted, classified material mishandling, civilly liable for sexual assault (& essentially just as old) Donald Trump running?
Please think for yourself.
Donald Trump loves to call Chris Christie a “fat pig.”
He calls just about everyone he doesn’t like “not smart”, “stupid” or “dumb.”
He says Joe Biden “hates God.”
He calls women ugly, uses physical appearance to mock and insult, calls the news “fake” and “phony”, calls our military leaders “weak”, calls Democrats “unpatriotic”, he calls his foes “totally overrated”, and he’s called Hillary Clinton a “traitor” who is “unhinged, “unbalanced”, “unstable”, “dangerous” and “pathological”, and he also said of her: “The legacy of Hillary Clinton: death, destruction, chaos and weakness. She's weak. She's a weak person. I know her. She's a weak person."
And all of it — is 100% projection.
He’s not exactly svelte to put it kindly, he cheated on his SATs, can’t spell, doesn’t know history or geography, or that you shouldn’t look at an eclipse with the naked eye, he doesn’t attend church but instead every Sunday worships at Our Lady of the Perpetual Mulligan, he paints himself orange to look “tan”, wears lifts in his shoes to look “taller” and has a 15-step combover to hide the fact that he’s essentially bald, he dodged the draft five times, has been found to be an egregious business fraud who totally overrated his own worth, he’s been charged with stealing our national security information & sharing it with others, and with attempting to thwart democracy itself, he’s unhinged, unbalanced, unstable, dangerous and pathological and his legacy in particular as it pertains to his woeful mishandling of a pandemic and the violent attack he incited on our Capitol, will be death, destruction, chaos & weakness.
He’s a weak person. We know him. He is a weak person.
And no matter how hard he tries to drown out the voices playing on a loop in his own narcissistic, sociopathic subconscious by calling others what he knows deep down to be true about himself, it isn’t working. We see him.
Believe me.
"The Right wants strict rules on everything.
From what teachers can teach,
to who can read to children...
But when it comes to just f*cking filling out paperwork to get a gun, TOO FAR!
But inconvenience is not the same thing as infringement."
LEGEND. 🔥
Robert De Niro’s full statement on Trump. Please read and let me know your thoughts:
I’ve spent a lot of time studying bad men. I’ve examined their characteristics, their mannerisms, the utter banality of their cruelty. Yet there’s something different about Donald Trump. When I look at him, I don’t see a bad man. Truly.
I see an evil one.
Over the years, I’ve met gangsters here and there. This guy tries to be one, but he can’t quite pull it off. There’s such a thing as “honor among thieves.” Yes, even criminals usually have a sense of right and wrong. Whether they do the right thing or not is a different story — but — they have a moral code, however warped.
Donald Trump does not. He’s a wannabe tough guy with no morals or ethics. No sense of right or wrong. No regard for anyone but himself — not the people he was supposed to lead and protect, not the people he does business with, not the people who follow him, blindly and loyally, not even the people who consider themselves his “friends.” He has contempt for all of them.
We New Yorkers got to know him over the years that he poisoned the atmosphere and littered our city with monuments to his ego. We knew first hand that this was someone who should never be considered for leadership. We tried to warn the world in 2016.
The repercussions of his turbulent presidency divided America and rattled New York City beyond imagination. Remember how we were jolted by crisis in early 2020, as a virus swept the world. We lived with Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up in body bags.
The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior. That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse.
Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously.
So today we issue another warning. From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America:
This is our last chance.
Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator.
And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided.
So what do we do about it? I know I’m preaching to the choir here. What we’re doing today is valuable, but we have to take today into tomorrow – take it outside these walls. We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House. They’re not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice. Our future doesn’t just depend on us. It depends on them.
Let’s reach out to Trump’s followers with respect. Let’s not talk about “democracy.” “Democracy” may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, they’ve already turned their backs on it. Let’s talk about right and wrong. Let’s talk about humanity. Let’s talk about kindness. Security for our world. Safety for our families. Decency. Let’s welcome them back. We won’t get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump, and fulfill the mission of this “Stop Trump Summit.”
I really want to hear how Republicans reconcile the whole "Democrats don't care about our national debt" argument with this simple, yet informative chart:
1989-1992 - Bush increases our deficit.
1993-2000 - Clinton has a budget surplus
2001-2008 - Bush increases our deficit, also sparks Great Recession
2009-2016 - Obama reduces our deficit significantly after an increase as he takes office during the Great Recession
2017-2020 - Trump increases our deficit thanks to Tax Cuts, before Covid explodes our deficit further
2021-2023 - Biden Takes over during Covid and begins reducing our deficit
Can someone tell me what I'm missing here?
I know that our national debt is a problem and both sides should be blamed to some extent, but the GOP narrative that this is a Democratic problem is just laughable to me.
"What you're telling me is, you don't mind infringing free speech to protect children from this amorphous thing you think of, but when it comes to children that have died, you don't give a flying f*ck."
Jon Stewart is a national treasure.
Hell of a week for Biden:
-528k July jobs added
-Unemployment at 3.5% (50-year low)
-Zawahiri killed
-CHIPS Act passes
-PACT Act passes
-Inflation Reduction Act deal
-Gas hits 50+ day low (median US price below $4/gal)
-Kansas protects abortion
And he oversaw it all with COVID.
