I agree that it isn't going to fix everything but it's a really good way if building trust between organisations and, more importantly for me, getting help for people quicker.

@ScotsCop I'm just not sure this policy addresses the real problem. People are dying. We need accessible treatment, not stigma riddled words You are right, we need to be tough on those causing harms - this policy targets the 'visibly in need' and does nothing to unite communities.
Drug misuse puts lives at risk, fuels criminality and serious and violent crime.
It also results in the grotesque exploitation of young, vulnerable people.
Weโre cracking down on this with tougher consequences.
