The same people who were screeching “Tyler doesn’t have to appear in person because it’s NOT THE TRIAL!!” are now trying to use Tyler’s defense declining to cross Officer Hearsay as evidence of Tyler’s guilt.

These people are so disgusting.

Tyler’s defense attorneys were literally BEGGING the court to make him appear and give testimony in person so they could cross. The court said no (and all these freaks cheered!) and instead allowed an officer who neither collected the texts nor interviewed Twiggs to give testimony on both.

And why did the prosecution select a guy who didn’t collect the texts, photograph them OR conduct either of Lance Twiggs’ 2 interviews to be the one to testify on them? Because he literally COULD NOT give any definitive answers on any of it.

So why the hell would any moderately competent defense attorney show their hand on how they’re going to defend their client by asking questions to a guy whose answers will all be deemed hearsay in the real trial?

They tried to get Lance on the record in cross and the prosecution fought them tooth and nail. THAT is the only noteworthy in this entire charade.

I was in the courtroom today. There is no high-quality, zoomed-in footage showing anyone taking a shot. The video shown is the same distance as the footage of “Tyler” jumping off the roof shown in this screen shot.
