Today’s hygiene awareness session focused on protecting both mother and baby. We taught expectant mothers how good hygiene reduces the risk of UTIs and skin infections, which are major causes of low birth weight and premature labor. Thank you for supporting this vital health edu
On behalf of DBG, we participated in a Rapid Needs Assessment in villages surrounding Beledweyne. Findings show severe drought impacts declining river levels, pasture shortages, weak livestock, and reduced farming urgently affecting livelihoods and food security.
DBG team successfully distributed hygiene kits to 900 households in Beletweyne District, covering 4 IDP camps and 2 villages. Each kit included jerry cans, soap, aquatabs, buckets, and MHM kits promoting hygiene dignity and public health for displaced communities
