A podcast with youngest sibling energy. Created by @thedbk, the University of Maryland's independent student newspaper.

This episode of @DBKOffbeat won an @spj_tweets award! I interviewed the featured lesbian TikTok creators about finding community on the app, & @RosaPyo's interview with @jengolbeck adds essential context about how the algorithm can erase creators of color. https://t.co/LdJqbxslFu

For the SECOND year in a row @DBKOffbeat has won the @spj_tweets mark of excellence region two award!

🌈 our story focuses on TikTok’s queer community and how it’s helped people understand and celebrate their sexuality

Living in isolation in the beginning of the pandemic gave us a lot of time to think about our identities, our preferences and how we express ourselves.

The Diamondback wanted to let some of it out with this special Sex in College Park edition.

This episode was joyously hard.

@DBKOffbeat is lovingly whimsical and when we confronted something that is not, a blue lives matter flag at Marathon Deli, we had to make difficult choices.

Journalist have a duty to include all facts.
