Seeing how negative emotions lead to negative consequences can help us overcome them. Just as we can learn how helpful love and compassion can be, we can come to understand that anger, pride, jealousy and arrogance can be detrimental. We need to use reason and human intelligence.

@JuliaGillard I do always wonder, what’s the protocol? If you genuinely love someone and want to express gratitude, should you interrupt their quiet time to tell them, or drop the note and run?
I am all for safety but #qantas 3 hours sitting on the tarmac before a 13 hour flight with two kids? Surely the problem could have been detected and fixed before we all boarded?
