GameStop’s improved its gross and operating margins, expanded cash flow, and had double-digit U.S. sales growth.
The business is healthier, leaner and growing its collectables sales, which now accounts for 31% of overall sales.
The revenue declines can be attributed to divesting its Canada business and the sale of French stores.
Its decline in revenue is an easy excuse for Wall Street to sell off the stock. But ultimately the business transformation is more clear now.
Oh, and six profitable quarters in a row.
Bullish. $GME
@ejlfontenot@aricolonthree Since we read left to right, any logo that is entirely a letter or word must be facing right.
(In my mind at least!)
If it’s an otherwise symmetrical logo with a word or letter within it, I’ll allow it to be neither! (Bruins, Oilers)
@BlameTodd_@aricolonthree In my mind, a “G” is most definitely facing right though.
This feels like a social experiment and it’s funny to see how our minds think differently!
The way to be a successful generalist is not by starting and staying a generalist. The better path to being a generalist is by starting as a specialist and over time stacking specialties so you end up with the breadth of a generalist through specialization.
Thomas Massie just spelled it out on CNN:
“This vote is gonna be on your record longer than Trump is gonna be president… What are you gonna do in 2028 or 2030 when they ask, ‘How can we trust you? You covered up for a pedophile back in 2025.’”
That’s the kind of line that makes the whole room suddenly remember where the exits are.
