Good morning,
I hope you’re all well.
Someone gave me an idea last night & a dramatic re-enactment of recent events revolving around the Fire Brigades Union appeared!
It’s authentic & has the (now spiced up) musical interlude!
I hope it brings some much needed laughs.
Enjoy!
@AnjaliEwing@FraserNelson@Katie_Lam_MP Then you probably know all about how a sikh sword is usually a badge on a turban or a charm on a necklace. In this awful case I doubt that the murder weapon was legal to carry.
In this country, a Sgian dubh is legal. I dont think that it should be.

@miffythegamer@RadnorCat@SusannaRustin Miffy the misogynist jumps on to a thread on the importance of respecting biological sex to gainsay the article, experiences pushback so immediately blocks. As thick as he is offensive.

@fergustp@ret_ward If we petulantly sit on our hands (after being one of the early leaders in fossil fuel emissions) who should take action?
Perhaps I should argue that I can be let off my HMRC self assessment as in the grand scheme of things, what’s the difference to them.
@fergustp@ret_ward We have in the cotswolds the pipeline for the imported gas terminal at Milford Haven. Was quite a big expensive job. A LOT more expensive than an HV line.
Again, I have worked at Milford Haven and am confident that it would fall into your category of 'arsehole of nowhere'
@fergustp@ret_ward You say that like it's true. Is Spain reevaluating? Dolt.
And our contribution may be smaller currently (thanks to having stopped burning coal) but it would be childish and petulant to claim that you should get a free pass for flytipping just because someone else is far worse.
JK Rowling wrote Mein Kampf under the pseudonym 'Adolf Hitler'. She was able to do this because Richard Dawkins built a time machine for her. To see more historical facts like these please join BlueSky.
@fergustp@ret_ward So should we just keep piping the eternal, never ending and zero externality super cheap gas from the North Sea into Scotland and down to power stations close to London (because remember you dont want them at the arsehole of nowhere). Can you see any problem with such a fantasy?
@fergustp@ret_ward so ... if it comes to pass it is going to need a bigger grid connection than the existing one for the old closed reactors. Admittedly not the triple the capacity that the Horizon plan called for, but about a 50% increase - and from one of your 'arsehole of nowhere' locations.
@fergustp@ret_ward Because that electricity generation used far too much coal and gas, non renewable resources that run out, cost more as they run out and emit lots of CO2 which if you had not heard is a big and expensive problem.
