@noncomplianz@SnowyEngland@Joffie2087 We have it over here in the Eastern states of Oz too. I call it "Deadly Nightshade". It's not a good plant to have. Dispose of it carefully.
Thanks for concern @SnowyEngland, I've been flat out at work, so not on here much. One project is getting a LOT of attention! So v busy!
@SnowyEngland Cacti can have amazing flowers. We have a cactus farm about 30 minutes drive from where I am. I've been there once when they were flowing. Fantastic display.
@tanpukunokami Well said. No nation should be made a prisoner of its past, nor have that past used to restrict its future, especially when such a length of time has passed. Very well written.
@SnowyEngland We have to move everything in Australia huge distances. It's the trucks that do the hard work. When I drove a 3000km round trip to Brisbane and back, there were hundreds of trucks on the roads I was on. If the trucks stop, so will society.
@JillMarinelli1 Some of the really interesting stats from the Farrer by-election was that some rural polling booths saw One Nation primary vote go to 60's and 70+ percent. I think the country regions will go orange next election.
@SnowyEngland I remember fruit picking one summer when I was in University. They were spraying a mist of Calcium Chloride solution on the fruit near where I was picking (think it was apples). Apparently it hardens up the skins so they survive transport better.
@SnowyEngland I think Schopenhauer put it well when he said: All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
Free thinkers face this process many times when dealing with other people.
