Woke up still shocked and amazed at what those ladies did last night. The comeback and finish still seems unreal.
Then after reading all the texts, Facebook and twitter posts about this team, it is really really special.
The fans, students, and parents were huge last night and all season.
Special thank you to my wife and family for their support during these last few months!
Congrats to the ladies, the staff, the school, the fans, and the program.

What a weekend!!
My girls didn’t get the games they deserved this weekend, but they showed up, fought hard, played with heart, and had a blast doing it together.
That’s the stuff that matters. Watching this group grow, not just as players but as young women, this is something I take great pride in with their story.
Then it was a race home to celebrate one of my players from last summer at her graduation party.
That party allowed me to see another recent grad (not pictured), and then another player from that same summer team. All three hold a very special place in my heart.
Moments like these are why I coach. The wins are great, but these are the memories that are worth it.
So proud of all of you. Always!
Unpopular opinion…
AAU doesn’t need to lead to college basketball to be worth it.
For a lot of players today, it’s simply part of becoming competitive enough to play varsity basketball.
Not every player is chasing a Division I scholarship. Some are chasing a varsity roster spot. Some want to make the rotation. Some want to help their high school team win. Some just love the game.
And that’s enough!
I think we’ve become too obsessed with using college basketball as the scoreboard for whether a player’s journey was worth it.
What if they never play another organized game after high school?
If they loved the practices… loved the tournaments… loved the road trips… loved the teammates… loved competing…
Wasn’t that valuable too?
Not every basketball journey has to end with a scholarship to be a success.
Sometimes success is simply getting better, building friendships, making memories, learning life lessons, and squeezing EVERY DROP out of a game you love.
If you’re playing on Court 1 or Court 37, play hard.
The love of the game doesn’t care what division you’re headed to.
❤️🏀
So very proud of her accomplishments this year in track and with zero history of ever running. She's found a new love!
Congrats B and thank you @MWestGirlsTrack for all the support and encouragement this season!
No better way to top off thr weekend at Live at the Lakes then having 16U Rise, 17u Select, and 16U Select winning their final games to close out the tournament.

This team continues amaze me with their growth and play.
It hasn't always been easy, we've lost a few close games, but we've always been in the game until the end.
Today we closed one out!
Proud of you all and the hard work is paying off!
Good job ladies!
It's always fun running into former youth players that are now playing in high school.
Great seeing you two! Keep letting it fly girls!

Here are our medalists from the Gretna Invite on Thursday. Some really great performances in a very competitive meet. Wildcats finished second as a team. Championship stretch the next three weeks. Metro Conference, District, State.
