@Reil76 So to understand.. your father and your step-father both beat your step-father and mother and somehow you extrapolate that to all men and begin making wide scoping criticisms of men vs the scum that actually did the harm?
@DeanAllisonMP So what's the answer Dean? The Libs now have a majority and can now enact their agenda with little opposition.
Filibusters, pointed questions in Parliament (that go unanswered) are like whistling in the wind. We need an effective strategy and tangible actions.
@sarobertsonca This MAGA nonsense is a brain worm these Liberals and their sycophants can't get out of their minds. Wanting a strong country, focussed on its resource strength and affordable lifestyle is not MAGA, it is pragmatic and responsible.
@echipiuk I am getting tired of listening to the bleeding of the sheep. It wears you down and disheartens you when you realize people would rather regurgitate talking points than exercise a little if the grey matter and think for themselves.
@erik_thorvalds I'm interested in what the actual process would be to create a separate Alberta. How does one unwind all the bureaucracy, laws, etc. it won't be easy or fast. How will a separate but still attached Alberta operate during that period?
@MarkDietzinAB@Martyupnorth@TroyWestwood The Alberta separation issue breaks my heart. I understand the Alberta separation argument. I agree that federation isn't working and that our recent and current political leaders (of all parties) are letting Canada down. But I can't cheer for Canada's destruction.
@echipiuk Hi Eva, just wondering if you have any plans to have the book turned into an audiobook and listed in audible. I don't do hardback books anymore and only occasionally read books online. Audiobooks are more convenient for me as I can listen while engaged in other activities.
@TomMarazzo@LichTamara This seems to be the standard operating principle of the PPC. Attack anything CPC. They seem to exist to undermine the conservative movement in Canada. Their motto is if you aren't PPC then you are not conservative. They hurt their own cause.
@CanadaTaxGuy@multiplesourc13 Tfsa is an after tax investment so the money has already been taxed. RRSPs are taxes in withdrawal. Home is subject to capital gains tax on sale or deemed disposition. So it is simplistic and disingenuous to say "build your non-taxable asset base".
@JamesonCanada@icedawg_42@guyjbreton@KirkLubimov Prove your statements about boomers (a rather broad category) making more on their pensions than working folks . No hyperbolic statements. Show me the numbers. Median pension income (from government sources - so OAS and GIC) per retired boomer.
