Yesterday’s defeat changed nothing for Messi.
Leo has already completed this sport. Every major club trophy. Every individual honour. Copa América. Finalissima. The World Cup. Ballon d’Or. Champions league.
He’s carried the weight of an entire nation, and a club for many years, suffered heartbreak after heartbreak, and still fought to finish his story, which he already completed in 2022.
One defeat will not take away a lifetime of greatness, he’s in no need to prove anyone wrong.
Never forget the happiness he’s given us all, especially to Barcelona when he was here.
@_Pato20 As a Barcelona you should enjoy the final, and still we are still the champion, na we Fifa go pay money for pass. Na our players, na our tikitaka😎💙❤️

"The pain is immense, and it will take time for this wound to heal."
"But I also hold onto all the good things: the matches we played, giving it our all, moments that will remain in our memories forever, and the support of an entire country, which, combined with this group's hard work and effort, led us to rank among the world's best once again."
"It is hard to fully appreciate what we achieved right now, but this group reached two consecutive World Cup finals."
"Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for every kind word and message."
"Once again, we managed to unite as a country and stand together, sharing the immense pride of being Argentine."
"I also want to congratulate Spain on winning the title."
@ChidesxP48754@klintoncod Scoring all those goals without not been the highest Golden boot player, not the most decorated player, ginger me abeg me 😃😃😃
6 World Cups. 6 attempts. Not a single World Cup final.
No one’s saying he had to win the trophy, that’s one of the hardest things in football.
But at the very least, you’d expect a player of his stature to lead his country to one World Cup final.
6 tournaments. 6 failures.
