I was just asked to be on The National to discuss Roe and abortion...and then I found out it would be a panel with a "pro-life/anti-abortion" voice. I am livid and sent this reply. I couldn't care less if this means I will not be asked back to the CBC. It needed to be said.
There is a significant difference between scaffolding learning of equity, anti-oppression, and CRRP concepts, and diluting the work under the guise of "simplifying" it.
Dominance is upheld in many ways. Watch out for this one.

Your favorite music probably has Black roots, but over and over again, non-black musicians are the faces and highest earners of genres originated by underpaid and overlooked Black artists.
Why would educators excel in pretty much any other field?
- They are able to explain complex ideas in simple ways.
- They can keep uniquely different personalities all on task.
- They can do so much with little resources.
- They are adaptable, teachable and reliable.
