Grew up in DC when public school gov't classes taught the person in the big house is gone in 4-8 years. Their priority should be keeping hold of the long termers on the hill and the lifetimers on the court.

The role of the President is supposed to just be to preside over the day to day operations of the federal government, which are supposed to be minimal.
