@ktownniko You are entitled to your opinion, but I don’t agree. More importantly, neither does the owner of Southampton, who has gone on record supporting him. Suggest you read that to get some more context to this case. FA may still ban him of course.
@DebsHLUFC There was already a rule in place to treat fellow clubs with trust and integrity. Your argument that there was no rule is not valid as Southampton were also charged with this old rule as well as the new specific one. Your crime was the same as their’s.
It is rumoured that news is about to break on a World Cup qualifying team, who have bent the rules slightly. Lawyers on behalf of Middlesbrough FC are allegedly in discussions with FIFA to replace that team in the competition. They continue to train, just in case.
@RalphInUEFA Neither should you. Many fans believe that the punishment was grossly out of line with the crime. £200k fine for Leeds to what they did to you is ridiculous and disgusting.
@Loulameg Only Hull had the right to be in the final. You lost the semi final, if you remember, and they got ‘kicked out’. In any other sporting competition that has ever existed, that has meant the team who has gone through is the winner. Silly billy.
