While the world talks about periods, too many girls in rural Rwanda are still missing school because they cannot afford a pad.

At @DCFWOMEN, we believe every girl deserves dignity, confidence, and the chance to thrive.

Through menstrual health education, school clubs, and reusable pads, we have already reached 25,000+ women and girls but the fight is not over.

Too many young people face big life decisions with no reliable information and no safe space to ask questions. The cost? In Rwanda, 8% 𝙤𝙛 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 aged 15–19 have already begun childbearing (NISR, 2024). Early pregnancy cuts education short and fuels cycles of poverty.
