Yr 11 Krakow trip spent yesterday learning about the old Jewish quarter (Kazimierz) and the site of the WW2 ghetto. This morning we are the Galicia museum, focusing on our key themes of displacement and identity.
Yr 11 Krakow trip have spent the day at Auschwitz Birkenau. The boys have been fantastic throughout with exceptional levels of engagement and empathy, and asked lots of really thoughtful questions of our guides.
On our way back from a fab Geography trip to Devon/Dorset with the Year 12s. This coastal fieldwork residential gave them the experience of potential data collection techniques for their NEAs. We had a great time in the sunshine (just one rainy hour).
Back today from a fantastic trip to Sicily with the Year 10 geographers. It was full of tectonic adventures, including Etna! A memorable trip all round. Thanks to the staff involved in planning and leading it and to the students for making it so enjoyable!
Yr10 History students went on a walking tour of Berlin visiting Bernauer Strasse Wall Memorial, Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. We finished the day at Rausch Chocolatiers - will the treats make it back to England???
