Canadians from coast to coast mailed them to the Senate to say NO to Bill C-9 — a Liberal bill that threatens religious freedom and freedom of expression.

The Senate’s response?

They hid them in a warehouse in Gatineau and tried to keep them from ever reaching the senators.

Only after Conservative pressure (and the work of Senator Denise Batters) did they finally move the 133 boxes into a Senate office.

Even now, the postcards are still mixed together. Senators’ staff have to physically come pick up a box themselves if they want to read what Canadians actually think.

They didn’t want you to see this.

They didn’t want the senators to see this.

That’s how much they fear regular Canadians speaking up.
