I’ve been tagged in a disturbing video of a student being caned by a teacher in Kenya.

Let this sink in: an adult, entrusted with children, inflicting pain in the name of discipline.

This is not correction.
This is abuse.

Caning students, especially on the soles of their feet, is illegal and has been illegal for years.

The TSC must act immediately. Those responsible must be identified and face the law.

Our children are not punching bags.

They are not experiments.
They deserve protection.

My fellow Kenyans, I’ve always said this,
Most government officials take us for fools.

Do you remember that photo?
CS Duale and PS Mwangangi submitting over 1,800 universal health coverage ShA files, claiming they had evidence of massive fraud at DCI.

That happened immediately after we exposed SHA fraud.

Fast forward to today.
How many SHA fraudsters have been arrested?
How much of the over Sh11 billion has been recovered?

Apart from a few small fish, people accused of stealing less than Sh5 million, that was the end of the story.

And this is the pattern.
Remember the Collins Jumaisi case?
We were shown evidence. He was paraded publicly.
Then suddenly we were told he "escaped from custody"... and that was it.

Two years later, nothing.

Yet today, let a tweep post something critical of government,
And arrests happen within hours.

That’s why I'm not letting this issue go.
And neither should we.

They can change names, reshuffle faces, rebrand SHA into something else,
But we want SHA data,
And we want the thieves prosecuted.

Moses Maingi Mwau 28 years old was arrested on January 8 and booked at Nunguni Police Station.

When his brother went to negotiate his release, it is reported that Moses was found tortured and unresponsive,

And was therefore rushed to Kilungu Sub-County Level 4 Hospital, from where he was referred to Germany Medical Centre for a CT scan.

The results revealed acute bleeding in the left cerebrum with pressure effects and ipsilateral edema.

On 20th January 2026 Moses succumbed to his injuries at Kilungu Sub County Hospital.

Hundreds of soldiers descended on our home in Magere last night. Most were dressed in SFC uniforms while others were in regular UPDF uniforms and others in plain clothes. Many of them were drunk. They came with ladders, ready to climb upstairs. They broke our doors and forced themselves into our house. Using hammers, they hit walls, window glasses, and doors. They put my wife on gunpoint, asking her to reveal my whereabouts. They stole money, numerous valuable documents, and all electronic gadgets. They took phones, laptops, chargers, our internet system, our CCTV system, speakers, and any electronic gadget they could lay their criminal hands on. They entered every part of our house, including the ceiling, and left so much destruction everywhere. They grabbed my wife's phone, forced her to sit down, and ordered her to remove her password. She refused. They strangled her and insulted her. They forcefully removed her blouse and took pictures! Speaking Runyakore, they asked why she would get married to a muganda, and why we would dare challenge Museveni.

They beat up our askari and house maid. They ordered the askari to show them where the basement is, where I was hiding. These criminals asked where my children were!

My wife was rushed to hospital where she remains admitted - dealing with all the physical and psychological trauma. Yet in all this, we remain firm in our belief that UGANDA WILL BE FREE.
