It’s @nfl #SuperBowl Sunday! @seahawks v @patriots. The football huddle was invented @gallaudetu @visitwashsington in 1894. When Paul Hubbard, E-'96, realized opposing teams were reading Gallaudet's football plays, he began the huddle, which was later adopted by hearing teams.

A significant one-year long @mountvernon mansion renovation in preparation for @America250 is nearly complete. All the mansion rooms are available for view including the #Washington bedroom, 1st floor guest bedroom, and dining room.

One of the great treats @mountvernon is observing the blacksmiths shape metal. Each of the historic buildings on site receive their repair metals (eg. hinges, pad-eyes, locks, hooks) from items made by the ancient method in this shop. https://t.co/V9RbEXz1I3
