Commissioner’s Field Visit to Medchal Circle

The Commissioner, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), along with the Deputy Commissioner, Medchal, and circle officials, conducted a comprehensive field inspection to review civic infrastructure and environmental conditions.

📍 Key directions issued:

• Immediate removal of water hyacinth from lakes with deployment of adequate manpower and machinery, along with regular monitoring to prevent regrowth.

• Ensuring proper functioning of the Underground Drainage (UGD) system through desilting, clearing blockages, and addressing overflow or leakage complaints on priority.

• Strengthening lake maintenance by preventing the discharge of sewage and solid waste into water bodies and improving overall cleanliness.

• Repair of potholes and patchwork on the Medchal Highway to Ayodhya X Roads stretch, along with regular sanitation and stormwater flow inspections to avoid water stagnation.

• Clearance of litter along the National Highway stretch within Medchal Circle.

• Identification of suitable open spaces for the development of sports complexes and theme parks, promoting recreational facilities for residents and youth.

🗣️ The Commissioner also interacted with local residents, gathering ground-level feedback and directing officials to ensure prompt and coordinated action.

Early Morning Sanitation Inspection – Medchal Circle!!

Commissioner, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, conducted an early morning sanitation inspection at Gundlapochampally, Medchal Circle.

The Commissioner reviewed field operations along with the Deputy Commissioner @DC_Medchal and SWM teams, interacted with local residents and Swachh Auto drivers, and directed strict attendance and 100% door-to-door waste collection.

Penalties were ordered for littering and dumping garbage on roads. Commercial establishments were mandated to maintain dustbins.

Priority directions were also issued for lake improvement works, including removal of water hyacinth, development of green belt, and creation of a walking track around the lake.
