I chose 2 focus on Digital Security 4 my video asgmnt. I chose this bcuz I gravitate 2 all aspects of security regarding life & especially in tech. Its pivotal in keeping us safe frm harm socially & economically as there r so many threats of theft & embarsmnt online. #GNED1531

Unlike most people I wouldn't have much difficulty giving up digital tech for a week. Most of my time spent with it it for work or to watch YouTube. I guess I'd just have to read more books and spend more time at the gym, which isn't a bad thing. #GNED1531

I dnt fully agree w/ Dr.Lieberman's statemnt. Schools r a space provided by the ed system & its up 2 the teachers 2 prevent schoolyard bullying frm happening as much as it is the students'. So wht I'm sayin here is, w/o coop frm all parties, curbing the problm is futile.#GNED1531

I think ppl feel free 2 download & file share illegally bcuz "everyone else is doin it" & there hasn't been much clamp down on it. Also, 4 those who cant afford 2 purchase the works & would like 2 utilize it, do it. In either case not thinking that it harms the creator. #GNED1531

@eljefe80034623 I agree with your statement @eljefe80034623. As long as its not just a blatant verbatim reproduction of another idea, they do deserve credit for the work they put in. Of course, sometimes same ideas come from different people unknowingly, not disrespectfully.

If someone uses their time and makes an effort 2 put together any body of work while taking the necessary steps 2 create or modify their work enough 2 claim originality, they should b protected under the intellectual property laws and b credited for their contributions. #GNED1531

I do agree with Kirby's premise, everything is a remix. What is an idea anyway? I believe that even "original" ideas derive from some form of inspiration out of the real world. Some experience, something seen or heard and is built upon to form a "creation". #GNED1531

"Literacy" has evolved 2 b more focusd on tech abilities & thinking skills. Ovr the next 10 yrs I believe it will keep shifting awy frm the fundamentals & closer 2 high consumption from multiple platforms w/critical thinkng & tech knw-how playing the foremost role. #GNED1531

A challenge that can occur when using most digital comm tools is the lack of clarity. Social cues like facial expressions, tone or context can be missed through use of this avenue of tools which can cause conflict due to misunderstandings. #GNED1531

A few risks 2 consider when online shopping: Product may not be as advertised once it arrives or simply not what u thought bcuz you cant try b4 u buy in most cases. N e 1 can set up an ecomm site so choose trusted sources. Ur info can be harvested and used illegally. #GNED1531
