@ivmarley @animusxarcanum @LotusAsakura Except Toriyama was directly inspired by Osamu Tezuka, and Astro Boy was the first successful internationally broadcast anime. Plus, many shonen tropes are owed to Astro Boy. Yes, Dragon Ball has had more influence, but all I’m saying is it’s not the “grandfather of shonen manga”

@steven_dimond @Nomad9223 @domthebomb @nornSnap There is a need for 2 seasons. The second game is nearly twice as long as the first game, and Joel’s death still happens in the first couple of hours. I’m sure they’ll choose to expand on certain characters beforehand, but I just can’t see them padding it out an entire season.

@steven_dimond @Nomad9223 @domthebomb @nornSnap Even if it is paced differently, a lot of those flashbacks have the effect they do because they are placed after his death. I just wouldn’t count on his death changing places in the story.

@DuncanDonut0 @IzzzyzzzArt I’m pretty sure that show was never intended to have a second season. Shinichiro Watanabe shows rarely have multiple seasons.
