Think it’s another big reason I’m so endeared to the show. Not only are the characters better written than most other Trek shows but they’re also all so visually interesting compared to the rest of the shows only really having one or two gimmicky crew members

Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to think about it but it really is crazy that Deep Space Nine is a show where only three or four main cast members aren’t having to turn up to set every day for a complicated makeup or prosthetics job. For almost 200 eps… Wild!
