Coaches tend to have an insane amount of power in professional sport. They decide who plays and who doesn’t, what drills are performed, and how a team is run. All of this power can be both positive and negative on players.

Some sports, such as wrestling and boxing use weight classes to determine match-ups, which help ensure an even match, but also encourage young children to diet and stop eating completely to cut weight. I feel that if weight classes were… (word count)
I feel that if weight classes were more lenient and match-ups were also judged on skill, more even and safer matches could be lined up. There were numerous times where I had to go days eating almost nothing or only water in order to drop down to an ideal weight for wrestling.
As a child, I grew up on metal and plastic playground with soft ground. I feel as though the metal playground taught me to be more cautious and self aware of my actions. I think children need to learn how to fall to succeed.
