Summative Assessment “How the World Works”
Students designed a town on a coast or in a valley. Then, thought of a plan to protect their property from a natural disaster. Using water, they tested their idea, revised, & tried again. Great inquiry activity!

What a special day for our second graders at Las Positas! As our final project for the theme "How We Organize Ourselves" (economics unit) students made items to sale at our class store. They learned how to be consumers and producers.

This year our class is starting the day off right! The "Greeter of the Week" greets every child that walks through the door. My kids love it! The greets can change as the year goes along.
