@JENBROOK8 @stacsuzzyq85 @Fakealexixx @_janey_j @Starlet611 @STARTLOCALTHINK Just last week the SHO (junior doctor) lied to me said my father had seen a urologist (he hadnt); the she lied and said he'd agreed to a DNR. She inky consulted me because my Dad asked and he DID NOT consent. PALS have suggested I file a complaint.

If I wasn't certain #NHS #Negligence was killing my father, I wouldn't have an issue with the #DNR. Why would they discuss the DNR immediately after I'd raised a #complaint?

@hatetorycuts They're also culling waiting lists in a very unethical manner. My son was removed from one and attempted to be removed from another. Funnily enough, the list we refused to leave he's been waiting 2 years!

@Hazelgrove_5 @Anniedroid_ That's exactly what we want for our Dad - assurances he will continue to receive care. Approaching him to agree to DNR after we complained was interesting timing imho.

@simondoyle87 @SueJRogerson @livvy_johnson @sophieeejh1 @_janey_j @2manypeople4me @dksdata My experience is only SHOs saw my Dad in 7 days despite being told in A&E a specialist must attend. A senior doc only took time to discuss the DNR and that came straight after my complaint re meds bcse the A&E consultant said he must stop and the SHO put him back on.

@ConkerLover @_janey_j @capnbobstoaster Actually you're wrong. My Dad - who is waiting for discharge - is exhaused with anemia. He asked me to come to hospital and said I think they're trying to tell me I'm dying, can you speak to them? They said he'd agreed to a DNR and he said he had no recollection of it.

@Maggie77013542 I found it slightly coercive tbh. "He was of sound mind and he agreed. " As if I had convinced him otherwise. That's why I worry they could try to enforce one.

@Maggie77013542 I did. The doctor came. My Dad said he couldn't remember the conversation. She said he'd agreed. He said well I don't any longer. She said she wouldn't fill in the form. Should I trust her?
Also complained the only time a senior doc talked to my Dad was for a DNR.

@pully8 @jabberwock951 @Shr_Nottingham Ah yes. A physician associate and SHO were apparently adequate to make life changing decisions regarding my Dad. Thank Goodness a lovely consultant secretary explained this to me. Now going private

@Maggie77013542 @waynetlc @OlooneyJohn What do you mean? Today they told me my Dad had consented and were preparing the forms. My Dad didn't have a clue what they were talking about. He is ready to be released from hospital.
