Today conducted an inspection of the Mechanical Division Kulgam to assess the preparedness for snow clearance in anticipation of the forecasted snowfall. During the inspection, I was assured that all snow clearance machinery is fully operational and ready for immediate deployment. District administration has already set up a 24×7 control room to address public concerns and ensure smooth coordination. Directed the concerned officials to collaborate with relevant departments to prioritize critical routes, including highways, hospitals, religious places and Educational Institutions to ensure uninterrupted operations and public safety during the snowfall.

Received hundreds of distress calls regarding snow clearance and medical emergencies. All concerns have been addressed and taken up with the District Administration Kulgam. Efforts are underway to clear the roads and ensure timely medical assistance. Given the urgency of the situation, personally monitored and stressed upon District Administration to mobilize additional resources and manpower to expedite the snow clearance operations in the District.
