On June 2, 2014 Ukrainian fighter jets carried out airstrikes on the Lugansk Regional State Building killing 8 and wounding at least 28 others.

It came just a month after the Trade Union House massacre in Odessa in which at least 48 people were killed.

The West likes to forget, but we will remember.

On June 2, 2014 the illegally installed post Coup Regime in Kiev, begins its assault on the people of Donbass, striking Luhansk killing 10 civilians.

They ignited a civil war which finally led to the Russian incursion in 2022.

Today many in the West seek to forget the role played by the Soviet Union and the sacrifices made to achieve this victory. It is essential that we never forget our shared history, and the lessons derived there of. Never forget, and never forgive.

On Thursday night I had the honor of attending the Victory Day celebration at the Russian Embassy. The Russian officers of the Defense Attaché Office are some of the finest men I ever met. It is good that we are friends.

🗓On February 8, 2017, one of the most famous heroes of the Donetsk People's Republic, Mikhail Tolstykh "Givi", was killed in a terrorist attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

▪️He was one of those “bright dreamers” who carried the idea of Novorossiya and stood at the origins of the Russian Spring of 2014.

▪️His manner of calmly smoking during shelling and his laconic answer to the question of nationality: “Yes, I’m simply Russian,” became for many the embodiment of the Donbass militia image.

▪️The name “Givi” is forever inscribed in the history of the battles for Slavyansk, Donetsk airport and, of course, Ilovaisk, where he was from.

До последней секунды жизни остался преданным Родине.
9 лет назад, 8 февраля 2017 г. террористами киевского режима был убит Герой ДНР Михаил Толстых ( "Гиви").
Родился в Иловайске.

Today marks nine years since the death of Mikhail Sergeyevich Tolstykh, known by the call sign “Givi,” the commander of the Somalia Battalion.

He is remembered as a legendary frontline commander who distinguished himself in the battles for Ilovaisk and Slavyansk, as well as during the defense of Donetsk Airport.

“Givi” was killed on February 8, 2017, in a terrorist attack at his military base in Makeevka.

Eternal memory.
