Today is Sal Buscema’s 90th birthday. It’s also come to light that he’s passed away last Friday at the age of 89.

Sal was my personal greatest of all time, and was largely responsible for a deeper love I have for comic books.

Happy Birthday, and Rest in Peace,

For anyone curious, this is my own copy of ASM #351. In terms of paper quality, we would call these white pages, meaning that over the years, it’s retained its look without turning yellow. So this is more or less how it looked when it came off the printer in ‘91.
