Prasad Chary 096032 94390 called multiple times to confirm the address for delivering a product on 14th Dec that was to be delivered on 13th. There was no one home to receive or pay for it.

Gender Stereotyping and Insensitivity in GHMC’s Flyover Art

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recently painted the flyover pillars as part of their city beautification project. However, a mural under the Panjagutta flyover has drawn criticism for reinforcing outdated gender stereotypes.

In the artwork, professions like doctor, scientist, blacksmith, engineer, lawyer, and media professional are depicted as men, while the only woman shown is a vegetable seller. This representation overlooks the fact that women are excelling in every field today.

As a public project in a city where children see these images daily, it’s important for GHMC to approach such art with sensitivity. Art on city walls should reflect a more inclusive view of society, celebrating the achievements of both men and women across diverse professions.
