Another year. Another $1 billion for private school vouchers.
Les Wexner, the billionaire, is eligible for a voucher in Ohio. Public schools and taxpayers are paying the price.

Donovan Mitchell calls the criticism of Kenny Atkinson "hilarious."
"Why? We got here [ECF], we did it with Kenny, we didn't go out there and coach ourselves, I love Kenny, we love Kenny, that's all that matters."
@JeffDLowe This is the culture that will destroy sports. Fire the coach after year 2 making it to the ECF?? He tried to make a fair point about expected vs observed FG%, learned from a previous mistake losing timeouts by keeping them…and you fire him?? Wow, Cleveland became toxic
The Cavs fans asking to blow this team up are not the ones that watched Ramon Sessions and Samardo Samuels. Do you not realize how bad the NBA is when your team SUCKS?
@PubliusTacitus4@BenAxelrod Koby might fire him just to try and save his own job…I’ll be a fan for life but firing Kenny 2 years in would sting more than a bit. Appreciate what he’s done for this team bringing us back into relevance post-LeBron
@PubliusTacitus4@BenAxelrod I do! He made the ECF this year, year 2. The no timeout in game 1 showed me he’s trying to improve (see: losing a challenge early in the game that could’ve been used late to turn momentum in one of the Raptors games). He’s making adjustments and made it this far, I see upside!
@mtoncar@BenAxelrod@HPbasketball Fix the salary cap, dump expensive contracts, try to trade Harden if he picks up the option…don’t fire a coach who made it to the ECF in his second year, come on now
@PulseCleveland And who is to blame when we don’t get even this far next year?? Firing Kenny is just downright stupid. Guy tried to learn a lesson early in the playoffs about keeping timeouts and gets fired for it? For trying to improve?? Go to Philly w the negativity, leave my city alone
@PubliusTacitus4@BenAxelrod Firing Kenny Atkinson would be among the worst decisions. Hire Billy Donovan who most recently had a losing record with the Bulls? Atkinson has ALREADY reached as far as Billy Donovan did with KD and Russ. Stop overreacting to this series, please
@mtoncar@BenAxelrod@HPbasketball This is the best way to lose 60 games and miss the playoffs entirely next year. Atkinson has earned a third year, at least. Let’s all stop overreacting to this series
@NickPedone12 It’ll be a shame if they let go of Kenny because of toxic fans and media. He got to the ECF in year 2!! No matter how bad a taste we have in our mouths from this series, there isn’t a better option out there right now. Come back for year 3 and take another step up the ladder
@sickbillygoat_6 I’ll add: ten years ago this franchise did something nobody has ever done before, coming back from 3-1 in the finals. Series isn’t over, we should save the post mortem for once they’re eliminated. Turned into one of the most toxic sports cities since then smh
What a fucking moron. The scientists updated the forecast and concluded the worst-case scenario is no longer likely because of faster than expected adoption of renewables.
In other words, it’s precisely because some countries moved fast in adopting green energy that this scenario became unlikely.
@waltonite0@joeroganhq That’s fair, I don’t know the regulations in those countries (though am not aware of too many here in the US?)
That said, both India and China are still part of the Paris Agreement that the US backed out of. As to whether they’re holding up their end of it, I’m not sure.
@waltonite0@joeroganhq This is disingenuous. Per capita emissions of the US are ~1.5x that of China and ~5.7x that of India. We are not the whole problem, but we are a significant fraction. Every bit helps, especially if we can encourage corporations to embrace cleaner practices. (Data: EU EDGAR)
