If you're seeing something like the screen below, you may be panicking as to why YoY data was showing last month, but not this month. Has something broken in your GA setup?
With the last core update completing rollout 65 days ago on 28th November, it's only a matter of time until another one arrives.
My prediction is February 27th-March 28th π€ What do you think?

Are we overdue a Google Core #Algorithm Update? π
The old normal was to expect a core update from #Google every 3-6 months, but this all changed in the second half of 2023 when THREE core algorithm updates launched in 72 days...
Just click on the dropdown next to the new "Session primary channel group" metric, then swap this to "Session default channel group".
That's it, your data is showing now...

If you're seeing something like the screen below, you may be panicking as to why YoY data was showing last month, but not this month. Has something broken in your GA setup?
For example, if you select "Traffic Acquisition" for January 2024 vs January 2023, it will only show data for January 2024 by default. How do you fix this?
It's really simple - so much so that it is quite frustrating...
