@OgBardownski As a wild fan, I’d honestly trade Kaprizov and keep Boldy in that big 4. I think the gap between the 2 was closed by a lot last season, and Boldy is younger and $10M cheaper. Obviously kirill has a nmc so he’d have to waive, but if he’s willing I’d trade him over Boldy
@OhNyquist The fact he has 5 years means more. It’s not like he’s going somewhere and has the opportunity to leave in 1 or 2 years like Hughes, Matthews, Werenski, etc. it’s long term and he wants a place he can see himself living in
@Joseph66862190@devilsfanatics I’m sure “rivals” play a big part of where players go 💀. I’m assuming they’d want to win, and being a less competitive conference (according to you), on one of the best teams in that conference gives them a better chance at doing that
@Dmedo81@HartZ677@domstemarie@BrianHalverson And wings fans are acting like Larkin is some secret hockey god and not like he’s 30, has never hit ppg, has played in the playoffs once, is more expensive, and just requested a trade. He’s not gonna get anywhere near a Quinn Hughes package or a rantenen package
@EmptyNettersPod If I’m the ducks and they let Leo go, I’m taking the 4 first, then using the ducks 4 firsts to offer sheet Bedard or smtg. Would be funny that they’d have 4 of phillys firsts but none of theirs 💀
@MPringles676967@OhNyquist Doesn’t make you any less crazy. Larkin is 30, never hit ppg in his career, basically 0 playoff experience, and more expensive. The only thing he has over Boldy is that he’s a center, but boldy can still take faceoffs anyways. It would have to be Larkin +++ if the wings want him
@Omega00134@OhNyquist Knies is very much gonna be on the table. They literally already tried to trade him for much less and to a division rival this season. They also tried to trade him for 4th overall at the draft. You think Werenski comes knocking and they suddenly don’t want to include Knies?
