@Albertfd1999 @DECAPINATION I have an answer for you, @Albertfd1999! 😁

You only need to own ONE 8BALL Punk to get early access, and there’s no limit on how many you can buy! 🎱

After that, all DEAD PUNK holders will get access to the remaining supply.

First in, best dressed! 💀🔥

Decapination is being slept on in my opinion.

8-ball is the first of many upcoming merch drops. I’m stoked!

“The Dead Punks of DECAPINATION,” a 10,000-supply Ethereum PFP NFT collection in a distinctive Punk-Pop art style. It features hand-drawn traits, layered rarity through subcults, hidden handmade 1/1s, and expansions into streetwear, music, and more.

The project was built over roughly 4 years during the NFT bear market, with the team refining the art and lore under the “Dead Labs” banner. The official X account (@DECAPINATION) was created on October 13, 2021.

Avoid said he has actually had this concept for 15 years.

• Crafted from 895 hand-drawn traits.

• 16 Dead Punk variations (often referenced as 12 Subcults in mint materials) were generated independently, then fused into one cohesive 10k collection.

• Rarity increases as each Subcult’s supply decreases, creating a deliberate rarity arc. Examples include Dead Punks (OG, large supply), Ghosted Punks (with Mario ghost-inspired pixel elements), FLYN Punks, Skull Punks, and Mind Blown Punks.

• 161 handmade 1/1s are hidden throughout, with hand-written metadata (6 types of 1/1s).

• Style is colorful, cartoonish Punk-Pop: expressive Dead Punk characters with exaggerated features, tongues, hats, sunglasses, tattoos, and subcultural flair. It blurs PFP and 1/1 territory.

There’s more to this collection but that’s for another post.

This is true... I actually started designing DEAD PUNK STREETWEAR around 10–15 years ago (can't remember the exact year 😅).

It all started with a Daft Punk / Dead Punk remix logo I designed for a streetwear label I was working on called Primary Shape Co.

Long story short, that original concept ended up fitting perfectly into the Dead Punks of @DECAPINATION.

Now, all these years later, I'm finally bringing that dream to life, but in a way I NEVER could have predicted!!

The 16 subcults are the perfect vehicle for the limited-edition drop concept, and the possibilities are endless!

It's one of those things where everything just fell into place perfectly. 😁🔥

Sometimes an idea just needs to wait for the right moment.

Which SUBCULT should be next?

[A-VOID✖️➖✖️ @AVOID_TheArtist]

The first DEAD PUNK STREETWEAR drop hasn’t even landed yet, and I’m already plotting the next Limited Edition release 😏

Which Subcult deserves its own exclusive drop next?
👀💀

Let’s hear it! 👇
