The DECOAT project is in it's final phase, with most work packages nearing the end and producing #results and use cases.
To celebrate four years of collaboration and learning in the field of #textile#circularity, DECOAT heads to the @ec_show this month!
The DECOAT consortium meet for a General Assembly in Vigo, Spain.
Hosted by @CTAG_Materials, the project partners convened to share updates and come together for the next steps, as we are nearing the end of this #EUProject!
Maxime Olive from @RESCOLL talked about the Indar Primer used within DECOAT to successfully separate coatings from textiles. The primer is applied to the #textiles before coating, and at end of life it can be activated by heat to separate the two layers.
An EU Strategy for #sustainable and #circular#textiles was published earlier this year, outlining key actions to tackle the #waste and #pollution created from textiles daily.
